Elite Units Not Availible in Single Player

I recently bought Elite Units of the West and Elite Units of America. I have a campaign saved since an earlier version of ETW. I have noticed that only the Elite Units of the West is available for me to recruit in the Single Player saved campaign. Elite Units of the West is not. I started another campaign and both elite unit packages are available for me.

I suspect that this is a version issue with the saved game. My ETW is up to date.

How can I solve this easily?

Start another campaign

Or reinstall game. Had some issues with DLC units myself, reinstalling game solved it.

Sorry if i wasn't clear.

The units show up fine in game. The elite units of the America just doesn't show it in an older version saved game. I was thinking of starting a new campaign which I know fixes it.

I just wanted to see if I could get them without starting a new campaign.
