Flashing HUD
Hi,
I've just started playing ETW again and the same problem I winced through last time has raised its head again.
After about 20 minutes play on the campaign map, sometimes less, the HUD starts flashing (sometimes quite rapidly which makes the game damn near impossible until it decides to calm down). Bits of it disappear, sometimes unit cards will be blank or show as a partial flag or something else that doesn't belong. Also when I open screens like the research tree and the general Empire maintenance screen with policy and trade tabs they will flash and display out of place patterns and things.
Here's my rig:
Intel (R) Core i7 @ 2.67Ghz
6 Gb Ram
Nvidia Geforce GTX 295
Windows 7 64bit
Samsung Synchroniser 2233RZ Moniter
and the Empire settings that might affect the Campaign map(?):
Res: 1680 x 1050

Anti-Aliasing: 8x
Texture Filtering: Trilinear
Texture Quality: Ultra
Particle Effects: High
Unit Details: High
Building Details: High
Ship Details: High
Shadows: Ultra
Unit Size: Large
Trees: High
Water: Ultra
HDR: On
Volumetric Effects: On
SSAO: On
Verticle Synchronization: On
Hardware Shadows: On
Distortion Effects: On
Depth of Field: On
I've recently tried turning some options on/off (to no avail) as I was thinking maybe some of the options I've got on above don't work together well...But maybe you guys can tell me if this is the case.
Any help/advise on how to get stop this epileptic's nightmare would be much appreciated.

I get this problem but for the Battle HUD, Only way I can get rid of this problem is turning anti aliasing off
(for land battles, navy battles can handle x2 anti aliasing)
