Saxon tales: British Isles 700-1000

how come no one has ever made a mod about this time period?

its the perfect setting, the constant struggles with the invading danes an the :kings:

saxon kings of wessex, mercia, east anglia, and northumbria. not to mention the viking invasions of ireland!

you could even incorporate the diffent viking families as factions. and the mod would need alot of factions giving the time period! sorry if i seem to ramble on but ive just read several books in the Saxon Tales series by Bernard Cornwell and they are phenominal!

Plus they give plent of close accurate names of cities/villages and fortresses/castles. a mod about this would be awesome. in my opinion.

yes start it up there are similiar projects but that sounds good get some interest begin to build otherwise it is just another idea and of the thousands of twc members I do not think one of us is barren of a plethora of Ideas

Bernard Cornwell is epic and so is the Saxon age! I was actually reading the Saxon Chronicle at the Library the other day and did I mention that I live a few miles away from the Capital of Mercia: Tamworth?
