Trouble installing
I try to install Stainless Steel 6.1, I've downloaded Part 1 and Part 2, and the patch, I followed the installation instructions, and from the launcher I click Play, then choose Stainless Steel, then an error message saying Medieval II Total War Suffered a critical error and will now close.
Yes I do have Kingdoms installed.

R U using XP or Vista/Windows 7, if the latter please disable UAC.

Sorry I was apperantly using the wrong launcher. I thought it was all the same but, hehe, sorry, works now.
I used to play Stainless Steel when it was about version 4 or something. I stopped because it often crashed after some important battles, thus leaving me unmotivated to keep playing. But I hope its fixed

SS is pretty stable right now. Although save games sometimes corrupt (I've never experienced this, though), crashes are rare.
