Default Barbarian's and their crazy religous preferences...

Something has gone slightly off kilter in my 361 AD Quadi save. After having patched it to patch number 4 earlier today, I loaded it up and noticed that nearly all my Quaddi family members became unsatisfied with paganism and took up Zoroastrianism....eh? Some of these family members at the same time have traits like 'Sacrifice for the Transcendental One!' or 'The New Paganism is Best'. My King also has the 'Heir' and 'Heir to the Throne' traits as well. I did also notice that one member had conflicting traits as well...how does one be outgoing and also a hermit at the same time? What....the....fudge....all my other previous saves list my Roman family members as Zoroastrian's as well. Errrr, any ideas?

Oh I just found a diplomat that you dont want to mess with...he has a talent for assassination

    Outstanding.........oh God.....I can't stop laughing....my stomach hurts me now...

Well, it seems you're the lucky one. You don't need to recruit several agents anymore for your diplomats will work as an all-round operatives You'll cut your expenditures this way.
Pay attention, he'll probably "get" a talent for spying as well.

Yes, Patch 4 seems to have had some "strange" effects on savedgames. I don't remember changing any traits/ancillaries as yet (thoes will effect savedgames) but I have take out and added new units and so effected the export_descr_buildings.txt file. You could try deleting your map.rwm file found in IJ\data\world\maps\base folder and see if this helps, otherwise jsut accept the insanity of it all.

Well, here is a screenshot at least of our rather murderous diplomat...

Conversely, my spies and assasins now have the diplomatic trait...of course they can't do diplomatic missions but it's still funny. I tried deleting the map.rwm file, reinstalling the patch etc etc but to no avail. Never mind, just makes it a bit of a nuisance for my AAR.

You turn down his proposal, you die. Sounds like a pretty effective diplomacy.
