Multiplayer Campaign with a mod?

Hi everyone. I have the imperial splendor mod and have just downloaded the multiiplayer campaign.

My friend does not have a mod can we still play? If not and he gets he mod can we play then? If not if i uninstall and reinstall will we be able to play then?

if one of u has a mod on and the other doesnt u cant play
if u both are playing vanilla u definitely can
i think ive heard problems with playing with mods on MP campaign but it should work
remember both of ur games have to be EXACTLY the same
