Corrupted Download

I've tried downloading EB 1.1 4 times now, and each time after the installation the mod doesn't work (it just starts vanilla RTW) and when I run the installation valification, it says I have a corrupted download. One possible issue is I'm using the wrong checklist, because I asked it to download a new one (because I have BI and it said I should). Is there a way to download it without it being corrupted?

downloading it works for me...

are you sure you're installing it to the right place, and that you have edited the launch properties so that it runs?

try using the torrent...

Edit the launch properties? How do you do that?

I'm installing it to the default RTW folder (C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War) (I have UAC off so it doesn't matter that it's in program files; I tried moving it out and it still didn't work).

Edit: ok, I realized that I need to add "-mod:eb -show_err -ne" to the shortcut (minus quotations). Why does it need to run in windowed mode?

have you forced windowed mode in either the launch properties, or inside the game itself?

The post I found told me to add -mod:eb -show_err -ne. "-ne" makes it windowed, so I thought it had to be windowed, but after some experimentation I realized that it runs fine fullscreen.
