    Default New settlement names

    For some odd reason, any new settlement I create on the map is rendered without the last letter of the city name. For example:

    Spoiler Alert, click show to read: 

    The full name is Mascat, however the T hasn't been rendered. I had the exact same problem with a previous province, where Aornos was rendered on the map as Aorno. What do you think could be the problem here? I quadruple-checked the files and everything is spelled correctly.

    the only place you need to edit the names is in the []_regional_and_settlement_names.txt doc. I've never had a problem with missing letters before. Are you using notepad?

    Yep. I actually got the last letter in just now. A friend suggested I add the last letter twice (like Romee instead of Rome), but on the map it showed up with the double letters, and when I changed it back the last letter decided to reveal itself. So problem resolved for now I guess, but it's still pretty weird.

    I've heard that certain text editing set ups put in hidden characters or spaces of some sort, don't really know much about it, just have seen it mentioned once a while ago. Perhaps it had something to do with that. Glad you got it working though.

    You need to have a last blank line after the final name in the campaign_regions_and_settlements_names.txt.

    Expand your borders, a mod based on XGM 5.
