In Steam, you can check some global stats about the game. For instance, achievements. There is this very basic achievement called Founding Father. This achievement is awarded after you "Take one region by conquest, somewhere in the world".
One region! So you only have to take ONE region, to get this achievement. It's gotta be easiest thing ever, right? EVERYBODY AND I MEAN EVERYBODY should have done it, right?
Wrong!
According to official Steam stats 77% of ETW players got this achievement, WHICH MEANS that there are 23% of ETW customers who NEVER EVER conquered ONE region in the game! Talk about casual players.... one has to ask.... why did they even buy the game?
Expansionist power achievement is awarded for taking 10 regions - only 54% of players have it!!! Again, almost half of the legal ETW customers didn't even take 10 regions in the campaign! 24% (one in four) players took between 1 and 10 regions and that's it (at least for now).
Think about this, next time you start complaining about wrong headgear, wrong cap badges or the lack of nation-specific fife tunes....
