Really doesn't say much more than I would have said. Except for the fact that CA is pursuing a policy of frustrating hardcore fans by cutting modding support + making steam-only games, and 10 months is most likely not enough time to make significant fixes in the most horrid elements of the ETW engine (BAI, CAI). Maybe they'll go up a step from zombie AI, but that's still a looong way from "semblance of competence and reason".

I think most of the fans here, even the hardcore fans, would be satisfied if the BAI simply knew how to keep formation, how to exchange musket volleys, and did not blob like crazy during combat.

However, whether NTW does this remains to be seen.

That's what I meant by "semblence of competence and reason".
Currently you have:
zombie BAI - form blob in the center and shamble forward!
zombie siege AI - flaaaaaag! flaaaaag!
CAI - This nation has declared war on you. Braaains!

Agreed,

Most of us here have played previous total war games and enjoyed them despite CAI/BAI issues. The problem Empire has is that it's BAI bugs basically ruin the battles where as there was no big issues with Rome/Medieval BAI aside from being predictable and such but that can't be helped. None of us was expecting Human quality when it comes to CAI/BAI, we all have realistic expectations.

Where is it? All I saw was a preview.

Lol that wasn't a review, it just went over the details that CA have already released + some funny scenes from Bill + Ted.

Total bummer dude.
