    Default I have a problem

    Well, technically my friend has a problem. Basically, he has a virus. Norton detected it but couldnt remove it. So I told him to download Avast and see if that could solve the problem but that also is incapable of destroying the virus, In fact it couldnt even detect it. He is currently doing a system restore but if that doesnt sort it what should be his next step? He's trying to leave reinstalling windows and wiping his HDD to a last resort. Any suggestions?

    Make a note of virus enter it into google and their should manual removing instructions.
