Steam & Expansion Installation..?

Hi,

Ive recently installed windows 7 and with doing that it has caused me a bit of pain since ive forgot my password for my steam account. i cant retrieve my password due to the questions that i have forgotten the answers to and so forth..im not sure how ill be abel to access my steam account again.
so i was wondering if empire total war will need to be installed in order to install the expansion?..to my knowledge i think its always been the case.
If so is there any way of deleting my old account and setting up a new one?

as long as you have access to the email you used to sign up for that steam account, then you are all set. steam support site have all the info you need. gl

Hello, firstly, you should try contacting STEAM Support for help if you've forgotten your account's password or answers to its recovery questions.

You won't be able to delete your STEAM account, but you can register for a new one; but I suggest that you try contacting support first : P

Napoleon Total War does not require Empire to play, as it's a standalone expansion.

Ummm, just to let you know, Napoleon Total War is not an expansion, you do not need ETW to run it! Its a completely seperate game! SO no need to delete ur old one!

If you want to classify it as an expansion or not is irrelevant to this topic, Napoleon is stand-alone and does not require you to have Empire installed or in your Steam account.

So you could make a new account, but as said before, you should really just contact steam support about your password so you don't loose Empire.

You should really use questions that you'll remember the answer to... your mother's maiden name for example.
