    Default Assistance in Unit Scale?

I have finally got the Game Working, after a full uninstall of MTW2 and Legends, and installing just britanica.

My laptop isn't the best, so I tried to tune down unit scale. This, however, did not work. The frame rate is horrid with the current Huge Scale for my laptop.

Are there any mods or fixes for this issue?

I recommend normal unit scales and most of all turn off shadows. For me high quality shadows slow the game down most.

Large is the most balanced size. I use it for everything.

Dang, I was 23 turns into Rhun, but I will go back and try normal Scale. I like highly detailed men though, so I will turn off shadows and try smaller scale.

And thank you, I like the name myself

Because smaller feels far to small, and huge size is just stupid. Whenever you are in a siege with huge one unit will take up the whole wall. In battle the army stretches too far. And it lags to hell. Large is just perfect.

so how do you keep it at large unit scale, cuz it seems like the setting always changes back to Huge scale every time I start the game again

Just put the size you want, start the campaign and save, its done, the whole campaign will be your size

Or open your TATW.cfg (located in your TATW folder) with Notepad and change unit_size = huge to small or whatever you want.

I still play huge. It's much more epic and it only lags sometimes for me.

It lags so bad I cant see strait. Thats why I started using it in Rome. Now I am incredibly used to it. I cant do huge. It looks like crap in sieges and in battles the army just looks swollen. The units are bigger than they would be in real life.

What do you mean by that?
There are still less units than stated in lore.

Its would be more realistic to make far more units than to make them larger. But this is obviously impossible.

Right. And because of that they've made the units larger.
