You would probably have to get it unlocked, if you take into your local mobile phone store they can do it for you and should only cost a few euros.

As Freddie says, most mobile phones are locked so they will only work with a specific mobile network - in this case T-Mobile.

Your options are to either:

get it unlocked (ive never looked into how, as I understand it there are codes you need to enter, probably for a cost).

Or buy a phone which is sim free - Which is to say, already unlocked. Since these phones can be used in theory with any network at any time, they cost a bit more than locked versions.
