    Default 2 noob questions, appreciated

    1. What is the RR people keep mentioning? I just installed 6.0 and then the direct 6.2 addition and I didnt see any install olptions for specific sub-mods. Is RR part of Stainless Steel now, or is it something else? and why or why not would one want it?

    2. Can you get to the americas in the stainless steel mods to mow down all the natives?

    1. Here's the link to R/R http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=324802

It's makes the game really in depth, and role play qualified I believe. I don't use it because it puts restrictions on when & what you can build. Plus in in depth role play aspect. For me SS6.2 gives you plenty of eye candy and still let's you use your imagination w/o the restrictions.

Now having said all of that, I never tried it so I might be all wet as well about it...

RR/RC is Real Recruitment / Real Combat. It's one of the best sub mods for SS. I might tell you all about it, but better check it out yourself: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=300716

No I think you can only use the RR over 6.1. Please correct if I am wrong.

Regarding the Americas, SS uses the space previously occupied by the Atlantic and the Americas for an expanded Asian map. So no to Amerindians, but yes to Iranians.

No. RR/RC includes 6.2, you have to install over 6.1. But I'm not sure if this is still true

I think it's safest to do so. I think I remember PB saying you could probably install it over 6.2 but 6.1's how we've all been doing it.

If a question can be categorised as "noob", then chances are it has been answered previously. Please use the search function before posting new threads. You wont have to wait for an answer when you do

    2. No, there is no New World in SS. This is to maximize the space in Europe and Asia.
