Brakdown of Hard vs. Very Hard
Can anyone give me an idea of what the main difference on the battlefield is between Hard and Very Hard. I know they both receive bonuses but to what extent do the bonuses increase on Very Hard.
I am used to playing on Hard, but thought I'd up the Anti a little bit. I played a battle last night on VH, France vs. Savoy and Savoy throttled me, they charged headlong into my artillery and entrenched infantry and routed me rather easily. Don't think they would have taken the field that easily on H.

Re: Brakdown of Hard vs. Very Hard
Hard is something along the lines of 25% buffs on reload, melee, hp, morale and such so Hard isn't that bad. VH is along the lines of 100% buffs on the same stats so essentially the enemy is twice the stats as normal. Given the AI melee bug this allows the AI to man handle your units in a mass melee this time rather then breaking and running like they normally do.
Also on higher difficulties the AI still acts the same on normal, it's just that since it knows it's units are super units, it's able to be more daring with it's strategy. I tested this all out when ETW first came out on the same saved battle.

Not to mention the handicap on auto resolve is HUUUUGEE on V/H. Five line infantry against two cossack infantry, guess who won?
