The main campaigns

I noticed in one of the new (Russian) screenshots an opyion in the staet screen that said "Historical". What does that mean in CA parlance and what`s the alternative?

I know there is

1 Italian Campaign
2 Egyptian "
3 Campaign of the Convention or similar
4 French only campaign.

So which is closest to the Grand Campaign we all know and love of previos TW games?

3 & 4 are closest to grand campaign .

3: Play as Napoleon's enemies and stop him
4: Play as Napoleon and conquer the world (if you want)

Campaigns of the Coalition and Mastery of Europe are the names.

They are the Allied and French "Grand Campaigns" respectively.

Hmm...say I play as Prussia in the allied Grand Campaign, will I still be able to 'conquer the world?' or just ally against France and France's allies?

I'd bet my life that in both of the GCs the full range of diplomatic options are open to you, but there will be hate levels making it difficult for you to ally with Britain as France or with France as Austria, etc.
