CTD: RTR 1.9 Plat, Steam RTW 1.5, BI 1.6

Didn't see a sticky on known issues. I assume others have run into this:

CTD when right clicking name of unit in building info screen.

I was just trying to walk through the unit/tech tree, so for example right clicked on stables to bring up its building information. It has a list of cavalry in its top section, so I right click a cavalry unit name to get more information and the game crashes to desktop.

Tried with Romans and Greeks and both crashed, so assume it would affect all.

Windows 7 64bit.
Steam RTW Gold. CTD using either version Steam's RTW EXE and a BI EXE (fixed version, since steam version does not work with mods).


I would guess this is a known issue and maybe a workaround, windows compatibility settings, or game setting to make it work?

This is a known issue with RTR Platinum. Best thing to do is to view the units from the unit panel and not the building panel.

yeah i had same, i figured it happens only when i look units, so i dont do that any more
