just the weather, after all). I'm not saying the Russians had huge forces out there; in fact, they might not have. But the writer still fails to account for them, when they could very well have been off cavorting and drinking vodka in the Balkans, instead of in Muscovy.
Besides, I think we all knew that attrition wasn't going to be the true ass-kicker it should be in vanilla. You can only imagine how many "casuals" would quit the game when their 5,000 man grand army is down to 2,000 by the time it reached Moscow. Modders should quickly be able to find the parameter that defines attrition and ramp it up something fierce
