The MISSING units!

In order to help the future modders let's make a list of the units that are missing after having seen most of them by the screenshots.
I will edit your posts.

FRANCE
FROM 501ST LEGION
- Chasseurs à cheval de la Garde Impériale ("The Spoiled Brats" of Napoleon's Army)

- The Gendarme Elite

- Napoleon's Mameluke Squadron

- Polish Lancers (there are some but in DLC)

- Red Lancers

- Dragons de l’Impératice

From beorix:

-the Hussars for France.. 5th Regt is on DLC only !
-and many little units like the corse tirailleurs ,the Isembourg Regiment,
- the Imperial Guard a long list lol :
Cavalry : Honour Guards, Berg Lancers,

-For old guard infantry : (1st) regt of chasseurs à pied , seamen of the guards(marines)
-middle guard infantry : (3nd) Regt of grenadiers (dutch), fusiliers chasseurs ,fusiliers grenadiers, Velites of turin and Provence
-Young guard : Tirailleurs regiments (skirmishers), Voltigeurs Regiment, Flanqueurs-grenadiers Regt ,flanqueurs-chasseurs Regt

-84th line infantry(Both are some of the best standard line infantry in the entire army.)







UNITED KINGDOM

-The KGL (Kings German Legion) - both cavalry and infantry regiments, with some of the best light horse and light infantry (60th Rifle Battalions) available for the British Army.
-Royal Marines - A key millitary arm of the Royal Navy, sometimes utilised in batallion sized strength on particular campaigns.
-The Scots Grey's - Heavy Cavalry + Bearskin + Scotsman = EPIC WIN (although I believe this is a DLC unit, it really should have been included from the start)
-Hussars - Britain does not seem to get hussars. Very odd.
-Chasseurs Britanniques - French royalists fighting in British armies.

-1st Nassau Regiment-These would also have been neat in Empire.

-81st Regiment of Foot-fought in every campaign of the British Napoleonic wars

-1st Royal Regiment of Scots-The first Scottish regiment (as one might presume) dating back to the 1600's in a lone line of military tradition.

-Gordon's 92nd Highlanders-The Elite of the British Army.

-6th (Inniskilling) Dragoons-The best cavalry the Irish can provide.

-Coldstream Guards-His majesty's finest foot guards.


PRUSSIA

-"Schwarze Schar" (Black Corps) for Prussia.

AUSTRIA

-The Archduke Charles legion-trained personally by the Archduke, this regiment was a prime example of how the Austrian army progressed in 1809.

You mean missing in custom battles and mp? Or all campaigns? Or these units are just in game files but not in game?

fOR SINGLE AND MULTIPLAYER. I KNOW THERE ARE SOME TROOPS IN THE CAMPAIGN ONLY (LIKE SWISS OR POLISH INFANTRY), WE DON'T KNOW IF WE WILL BE ABBLE TO UNLOCK THEM FOR THE REST OF THE GAME...

Well then its stupid, game already contains only few units fer nation and if there are some only for certain campaigns and these are not even in custom and mp battles it sucks totally........

I totally agree with you, as the units are done, they should be available for everything, but...

I think they just want to made the MP battles more balanced.

I want the "Schwarze Schar" (Black Corps) for Prussia.

Guys, on another thread has been told that they make all unit types, not regiments. So they are not missing but just not a part of the game(without DLC)

For Britain

I also believe, although this may sound odd, that the British should have access to some minor faction units such as Portuguese infantry.

yes,the polish lancers and dragons de l’impératice are emblematics units.

I say put in the Semenovsky and Preobrahensky Life Guards for Russia, with their respective marches.

Here's mine for England, I'll post again when I have some French or other allied forces.

Quite true indeed. With ETW, for less than 10.00 $ I was able to get over 30 of the best units in the 18th century. Surely the same will be with NTW.

yes but not all will be in DLC and perhaps in one year, so if we can have them before with mods...

I think that's the reason for the uniform editor and renaming abillity, since the units are generic in NTW.
