Default Imperial Edition shipping to America?

The merits of spending the extra coin for the pretty packaging aside, is there a box version of the Imperial Edition going to America?

I'm looking to pre-order it, have it shipped to the wife so she can put it in my next Iraq care package. However, the only US suppliers of the "Imperial" edition are offering downloads. As I've already discovered with ETW and Steam, having the discs is a must for me. Internet is neither fast enough or reliable enough to download a 15 gig game.

I've looked at the option of ordering from Amazon.uk, but they don't ship to America or APO (Army Post Office) addresses.

    Any ideas?

Amazon.com has to, it's impossible. Imperial Edition is available to US and Europe, and some of Africa, Middle East...
Try others like play.com and game.com, see if they ship it.

And yeah, it's worth it, I think. The 15 extra units is not bad, and the pretty packaging + Napoleon's biography...
    Ja mata, TosaInu. Forever remembered.

I cough up a little extra just to support CA. People can bash 'em for their mistakes all they want, but they're still the only game developer making games of this scope. Sure, I use mods to get them to where they need to be and the AI sucks, but I accept that with a lot of games. It doesn't mean the game isn't worth my time and money. I'm a history nerd: this stuff is gold to me.

Anyhoo, Amazon.com only has the normal edition on it. Gamestop offers it for download, as does Steam, but why download a version of the game when you're paying for what comes in the box more than anything else? Besides, I physically can't download it without it taking a month (literally).

I had the same problem so I ordered from here: https://www.jbhifionline.com.au/defa...?T=77&P=473541

it comes from Australia so it might take some time to clear customs, but it will probably take a while to get to you anyway if its going to an APO
