It sounds like you need to talk to Gamestop. Also contact Sega support about their responses or lack there of.

I contacted Gamestop and they point me to TryMedia link below. They are apparently the ones responsible for the downloadable game on Gamestop's site. This is an additional help request form grrrr!

I have successfully downloaded two files so far. Both of the files are around 1.5GB so it takes a while. I have disabled screensaver and sleep mode on my computer. That seems to have helped. Each download has taken a couple hours at least. Good Luck!

Re: Install problem C:\\M2TW\\MedievalIITotalwar_MOV.001
Below if my email for the fix on all 3 files.
Medieval II: Total War requires the download of three resource files for the installation to complete. The installer will try to download the three additional files automatically but if you have difficulty you can download them independently.
Once the file MedievalIITotalWar.exe is downloaded, you will need to download three additional files by clicking on the following links:
http://d.trymedia.com/d/segaus/stati...alWar_data.003
http://d.trymedia.com/d/segaus/stati...talWar_Snd.002
http://d.trymedia.com/d/segaus/stati...talWar_Mov.001
If you are using Internet Explorer it may try to save the .00X file with a .ZIP file extension. You will need to save the files with the proper file extension (.001, .002, or .003) or they will not be found by the installer and you will not be able to install the product.
1. Make a note of the file extension and click on the link to begin downloading the file.
2. In the file Download dialogue box, click Save.
3. In the File name box delete .zip and replace with .001, .002, or .003 as appropriate. If you are not sure what the correct extension is or if you make any mistake, click Cancel and start the operation again.
4. Make sure that all installation files are downloaded to the same folder - by default C:\Downloads. If you do not save the files to the same folder you will not be able to install the product.
5. After all installation files have been successfully downloaded, go to C:\Downloads and double-click on the file named MedievalIITotalWar.exe to start the product installation.
Make sure your anti-virus software is turned off during the game installation, as this can interfere with the installation and cause the setup to fail.
========================================================
The Kingdoms Expansion pack does not install automatically when you install Medieval II Total War: Gold Edition.
To install the expansion pack, go to the game folder under the Windows Start menu. Click the link that says Download Medieval II Total War – Kingdoms. This will open a local webpage on your computer with links to the download files for this game.
The files are:
TotalWarKingdoms.exe (914 MB)
TotalWarKingdomsData.001 (1.28 GB)
TotalWarKingdomsData.002 (1.24 GB)
TotalWarKingdomsData.003 (1.31 GB)
Save each of the installation files to the same folder, typically C:\Downloads. We don’t recommend saving the files directly on the Desktop. Once all the files are saved, start the installation by running TotalWarKingdoms.exe.
The expansion game will update the base game. When you restart the game, you will see the options for the expansion in the Start Menu and on the Play button.

Re: Install problem C:\\M2TW\\MedievalIITotalwar_MOV.001
That's about how big they are on dvds. Two hours apiece means dsl connection at my house. Every computer and operating system install, the two things I have disabled since Win95 are the power saving/sleep modes and the screensaver. I have had them interrupt defrag sessions.
Keep us posted on the progress. Good luck.
