Assimilation of rosters?
Would it be historical if there were assimilation of rosters in SS?
Say, if England were to destroy Scotland Ireland and now holds all of Great Britain, including all of England, Scotland, and Ireland, should they have access to Scottish and Irish units?
I mean, after all, the Scots and Irish are now subjects to the English. It doesn't require a new faction like Kalmar Union, but just Scots and Irish working and fighting for the English crown. But these units, since they're not of the original English roster, are AoR, so can only be recruited in their historical homelands. So if England wants to send Noble Pikemen against the lancers of France, they need to recruit the Scottish units from Aberdeen, Inverness, or Edinburgh.
Also, perhaps, to recruit these units, public order must be very high, like over 120, just to represent that only when the locals are very happy with their current rulers will they fight for them.

Re: Assimilation of rosters?
The RR/RC compilation does this to an extent and I'm sure a few other sub-mods do too.

Re: Assimilation of rosters?
RR/RC KINDA does it. Like when you capture the farthest northern Scottish city as the English, I remember there being the ability to train Scottish highlanders

Re: Assimilation of rosters?
Wrong. Ideea is you recruit troops local only from castles. Not only highlanders but hghland pikes too. Imagine murtadoi in balkans. Desert archers in egypt, and not only 1 unit. In North africa get laptumna spears, 2 cavalry units. In Arta muslim archers. From lituania Eastern spears and lituanian archers. Al russian plain get cumans. So trust me RR, mean rooster asimilation. When I migrate to england with HRE i come back in france with longbows.

But what about people who don't want RR/RC? No hope then for this?

Re: Assimilation of rosters?
There might be other sub-mods as I said earlier but I can't guarantee that ;P

Re: Assimilation of rosters?
RR/RC allows recruitment of 'Local' category units, depending on who is doing the recruiting and where. Some other categories such as Early Professionals also suffer penalties to availability when outside their original recruitment zones. BGR adds a further dynamic religion-based AOR.
