    Default Family Tree Problem

I am playing a H/H migration campaign with Russia right now. And my general's numbers are dwindling. About 6 or 7 of them have been married since they were 20, and are now late 40s/50s and have no kids. They also have no negative perks to children. What the hell should I do? Here is a screen shot of the one side of my tree. At this rate, I'll only have about 4 generals in about 10-15 years when they all die out.
(Note: I don't actually play at 640x480, that's just the screenie.)

The game SHOULD (note, won't always) automatically give you candidates for adoption if your potential heirs / settlements ratio drops too low. You don't look to have reached that point just yet, as you seem to control England + Ireland + Normandy, and still have 6 family members. Now, it could lead to a crisis if all of them die off in a short period of time. However, it is rare that the game lets that happen.

Things I would do, but am uncertain will give you heirs... You look to be well into the game. Hire General's Bodyguards from your most advanced stables. Those give you generals with a long respawn. I'm unsure if these can become heirs, but they will give you generals. Take a general-less army out into the field and win a few heroic victories. This will give you Men of the Hour. Again, I'm unsure if they can be heirs, but it might work.

Other than that.... I'd just pray that the RNG (random number generator) doesn't hate you so much as to let your family completely die off.

yeah, this works very often. I play in M/M, so maybe computer is more generous, but it still should work.

of course they can be heirs, if you have only two generals left, heir and leader died in the battle, those two generals will become heir and leader.

I think my family is slowly recovering. I have a bunch of bad generals, and BAD dukes. But I do have a bunch of kids, so that's good.

Another odd thing about this game - the Timurids are just standing around, they have been running in small circles for quite a while now, not conquering anything.

After some time they should start moving towards Kiev

Yeah, that's what I thought, but they haven't moved for like a good 40 turns.

That's the only time I've ever seen Stacks of armies do the Schiltrom. +Rep.
when the union's inspiration through the worker's blood shall run,
there can be no power greater anywhere beneath the sun,
yet what force on earth is weaker than the feeble strength of one?
but the union makes us strong.
