Palestinian auxiliaries

According to the description they are supposed to be high quality militia capable of volley fire and should also sport policing abilities. In game, however, they seem to have none of these traits. Did CA forget to implement these features prior to release or am I missing something?

Haha, well; I dont think it's that big of a deal but I like them in multiplayer for their good shooting skills, just as good as russian line from what i noticed. Terrible melee though so they are kind of difficult to keep safe; I guess they are comparative to rifles or light inf in melee but have more troops.

There are plenty of units like this. Spanish guerrillas and Ottoman Azzars and the like are the same.

Still something seems fishy, they cost 110 gold more than Cossack infantry and only 70 gold less than Russian line. They're simply not worth their salt without the intial mentiones abilities.

They do have morale 8. Thats very high for a unit that cheap.

Pretty solid choice really if you just want a unit to absorb some skirmisher fire or keep a unit of coldstream guards busy for a while.

Terrible in melee of course.

someone sent these against my bulkleys. i got scared. i meleed them. they routed. end of story. why i got scared? they actually did damage. so they are high quality.
