Unspecifled error before and after battles.

Hi

Im having and problem when i enter or exit battles, Its ramdom and some times i can play 5 battles in my campainge then i get the error or i might get it after one

The error i get, then will will go to window mode then i get a message saying ''Unspecified error.The game will now exit''

I download the fall game torrant from the Entire mod in one download thread. I have installed the translation 1.3 english to.

My OS is win7 64bit

Hope some one can help, thank you for your time

check your system log and see if you have several lines about loading bars, screens etc etc near the last few lines.

I not much of a system techy, where can i find my system log on win7 ? i tryed googling it but could not find the answer i was looking for.

update

I think i found it here Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Administrative Tools.Events veiwer if this is where my system log is i still cant find anything about the CTDs im having

Look in this folder (C:\Users\your account name\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\Medieval II Total War). It should be in there.

1) I have Windows 7 64-bit also, and that's where I found mine

2) I don't see the issue in the log you just posted.

hehe we reply to each other about the same subject in different posts, my bad.

lets keep it here.

I have completly removed MTW and COW from my drive im now doing a clean install.

I have the 1.03 entire mod downloaded from torrant i have the 103 english text as well.

is there anything else i need ?

All i do to install this is remove my old teutonic folder then just extract it to my mods folder right ? then im ready to rock ?

All you need is the torrent. Just delete your teutonic folder and re-extract the teutonic folder into your mods folder. The torrent includes everything you need.

Well what a mare im having.

my medieval 2 disc got damaged somehow, it would not install all the way though. its the original pre order disc so i figured it must of taken some knocks over the years, so i bought medieval 2 gold edition, then i done a clean install.

I went to run the game before installing the mod just to check if everything was ok and it does not read the disc i get this

Wrong disc inserted please insert the original MED2GOLD CD/DVD

i get this on each of the exe's

i won the battle with ork and when on strategic maps units were dying was ctd

i tryed 3 times. and i dont know
help please

. i understand when is some suprise error but pernament? this wont work in this method. have y valiant the same pernament error with any place send to ctd? its nervous because in log file isnt any error.

The directory was wrong to begin with, and there isn't any of those files stated above, despite a full reinstall...

Nope I'm still getting these crashes every now and then. Usually around turn 26 or something the crashes make my campaign nearly unplayable. I envy those who can play so far into the mod...

Just a update on my end.

I did a full clean install, I even used brand new discs. and im %110 sure i have installed it right.

and im still having the same error, As other people seem to be having the same error i can only presume its the COW mod.

It is such a awsome mod though, im thrilled that the team put so much time and effect in to making it, Im sure they will gett around to polishing and fixing it so im more then happy to wait.

My choppa needs leveling in Warhammer online anyhow

parhaps it could be something to do with win7 or 64bit systems ?
