Faded words help please

I need help with something please on ETW, I have all the graphics on ultra, and most options i can selected, i run a good graphics card, and all the graphics looks awesome, but the only thing really bothering me is why do the words all seem faded when i read about the empires, and text in the games, unit information, and everything. Its strange, its almost like faded with a shadow background, and im having trouble reading it. It doesnt happen in MEdieval total war, just ETW. Did i select something is shouldnt have, or is this this way the game is? COuld someone who knows please help me this is really bothering me. Thank you for your time!!

I also have this problem. the writing is tiny and blurred. Im unsure how to take screenshots on ETW (or find them) but when i know i'll upload one

While in ETW pause it, then hit the PrntScrn button (near top right) and this will copy the screen into copy memory. Then open Paint software (all PC's have it) and paste the image. Export as a jpg to your desktop and attach to your next post OR use Fraps as mentioned above.

Or Zscreen, it allows you to take pics without watermarks or ads, as it's free and open source.

are you gents with the blur running an Invidia card?, if so you can find several posts here concerning invidia cards, or to make it short, roll back your drivers to 182.06 and change game reesolution to 1280-1024. good luck

That's good info. I have a NVIDIA card and used an older driver like you mentioned as certain things weren't showing up (weapons, cities on campaign, etc.)

I hadn't heard about adjusting the resolution of the monitor though. I haven't had any blurring issues but I will see if it affects the quality of picture.

There's a larger font mod - check out the released mods section.

It'll bring the font size up by a variety of sizes depending on which one you download (I have the same problem, like I'm constantly squinting to read the text of everything in the game)

Just don't go TOO large with the font, as it'll cut off text and you won't be able to read ANYTHING.
