Custom Battle issues with these mods

Heads up on what mods not to download if you thought you would use them for custom multiplayer battles. Please keep in mind that these mods original intent is for the people who play the campaign games and playing custom battles is a secondary priority. I am sure all the below mods are great for campaigns but when it comes to playing custom battles online IMO you would be wasting your time installing them.

Megas Alexandros doesn’t even have a button to play custom battles.

Paeninsula Italica serious lag due even when playing single player custom battles forget the terminology used to explain it and for whatever reason I can’t find the thread.

SPQR overly complicated process just to play custom battles. I asked to have the thread I started in that mods forum closed.

The Fall of Rome, again here there are a lot of pricing issues with units.

Let me apologies in advance if these issues have been fixed or if I am giving improper information at the time of this posting. Let me know if they have been and I will be more than happy to download the mod.

A couple more mods you should be aware of that have pricing issues for units when playing custom battles.
Amazon TW and Sparta TW.

The First Triumvirate,

You can play custom battles with this mod but only against the AI. This mod is not an option for me because I would rather lose to a human then win against the AI any day. If you’re so inclined fill your boots.

When playing single player battles it always seems to ctd (crash to desktop). Until the issue gets sorted I would not bother with it, too bad.

With the Romans anyway some units say they have 13 men left for example and only one is there in actuality.

If that’s the case so be it. I don’t know how many hours I have spent on mods that are not online custom battle ready. Fact of the matter is, it gives me something to do and if one person can benefit that’s good enough for me.

It is frustrating that there are a lot of mods out there that will never see any online play because they are so well done in every sense.
