I've recently listened to Flatfoot 56, The Dubliners, The young Dubliners, and the dropkick murphys.
Is there any other bands that have the bagpipe in their music?

Linkie?
To me bagpipe + rock is as potentially good as didgeridoo + rock.
Flogging Molly is the best.

I like traditional Irish music, but I severely dislike flogging molly.
It's just traditional tunes on cocaine. Nothing more.
This space intentionally left blank.
This is a bit celtic-y
here are some traditional irish war pipes, the pipes brought to Scotland in the dark ages.

I haven't heard Foggy Dew before. It was beautiful.

A new mobile phone tower went up in a town in the USA, and the local newspaper asked a number of people what they thought of it. Some said they noticed their cellphone reception was better. Some said they noticed the tower was affecting their health.
A local administrator was asked to comment. He nodded sagely, and said simply: "Wow. And think about how much more pronounced these effects will be once the tower is actually operational."

Guys, if you wanna hear the best version of 'foggy dew" you have to get the Sinead O'Connor version.
The levels aren't as good as on the album, the voice is amplified in this vid for some reason, but it was the best I could find on YouTube.

"...I'll look for something else. We're surrounded by water. Why are we eating knob?"
Took a while for me to figure how to post songs on here.
That is my favorite song.

The Chieftains and Flogging Molly are good.

this song always strikes my heart when away from home. I am sure it will even strike a chord in the most distant Irish American.
