    Default 0 turn recruitment?

    Have read sometimes about mods using 0 turn recruitment. But donīt know what to think about it.
    What is this good for and what are the advantages and disadvantages by allowing this?

    i don't understand? is it like you train a unit and it just pops up in your city? more detail please

    It lets you have bigger battles but unless you mod some other stuff the AI will bankrupt its self or hire just crappy troops.

    As for pharohs question it allows you to recruit up to 9 units in one turn from one settlement.

    That's why some mods use it.In real history the Roman republic could rase a Legion in 6 months.

    Thats why they put 2 turns for legions like the first-legionary cohorts and praetorian cohorts and cavalery (:

    Yeah don't do it with vanilla as you will get the enemy just spamming you with crap troops.
    the mods thought area able to factor this in quite well.

    There also was a mod that allowed you to recruit spies,diplomats and assasins in 0 turns which I thought made a lot of sense
