    Default Movement points.

    Hey,

    I've been playing around with the movement points in the game, what I found was the Chaos armies that spawned would all gather around the mountains and get stuck since the AI was unable to navigate past them. In the characters.txt file (think thats what its called) I changed the amounts from 160 to 400 and I found that the armies no longer became stuck and actually made it past the mountains. Now the AI seems abit more competent when invading and moving about the map.

    Doesnt that make your armies as well as theirs able to traverse almost the entire map in one go? might give it a go though

    Not quite the entire map. What I found was it made the game abit more interesting now that the Orks and the goblins and Chaos can actually make it out of the mountain ranges and don't just mass thousands of troops that don't really do much. I might play around with numbers and see what happens .

    I think this is a great initiative It's ridicolous that it takes a year or so for units to traverse the distance of say about 40 miles.. I understand the Gameplay reasons but wth, I want my armies to marsch!

    One thing I noticed was the Orks managed to wipe out half of the Empire by turn 70ish. It surprised me because in all other campaigns they never really did much the AI couldn't seem to figure a way out of their starting area, and the night goblins also ran amok on the map.

    Its also slightly better for the spawned armies that simply end up walking home as it doesnt take them as long to get there. then they can turn round and attack again rather than spending forever wondering around.
