    Empire and the DLC combined?
    The extra development time will allow us to finalize and polish Empire, making it the most accomplished and epic of the Total War series." said Kieran Brigden, Studio Communications Manager at The Creative Assembly. "There is a great deal of anticipation around Empire: Total War and we want to ensure that it is the benchmark for strategy games upon its release.

    I don't really understand this statement; most games see a descrease in price after time and when the game had expansions they are usually bundled and sold in a complete package. Total War has been this way for some time;
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Battle-Colle.../dp/B0000NSZMW

    That battle pack was released in November 2003 -- about a year after Medieval's release (August 2002,) just as the new "Battle Pack" seems to be.

    The same happened with Rome and Rome Gold -- just over a year to release all expansions in a single pack for much less than the sum of all three at release.
    http://www.amazon.com/Rome-Total-War.../dp/B000E2D3LC

    Rome was released in September 2004, Rome Gold coming out in February of 2006; just over a year later.

    Medieval II: Total War was released in November 2006 and the Gold Edition was released in February of 2008. Again, just over a year and, again, for a lower cost than the sum of the release prices.

    Beacause E.T.W. is still a broken game! If it is empire plus some dlc we deserve a refund for paying 60 plus bucks for unfinished game.

    Well, considering the date you announced and NTW out in a few weeks, it would not be out of the question to see a discounted ETW combo pack. Publishers often discount older versions of games when a newer one is released.

    Sure it's speculation, but it's within reason.

    $30.00 for everything they could milk out of Empire?

    If that's true I must say it's a suicidal insult move.

    Link please?
    Can't be DLC, the DLC pack on Steam is 16.19, not 30 dollars. It's bigger.

    Isn't that exactly what Total War: Eras is;
    http://pc.ign.com/objects/838/838532.html

    Shogun: Total War with the Mongol Invasion Expansion Pack, Medieval: Total War with the Viking Invasion Expansion Pack and Rome: Total War (with both the Barbarian Invasion and Alexander packs).

    It's probably a Total War Anthology. Last year Sony in Australia and NZ published a Total War Anthology (which I bought) so I guess it's being released other places now as well. Here is the link to the Australian version http://www.ebgames.com.au/pc-148508-...r-Anthology-PC.

    Saying that, the Aussie version costs $100AU which is not $30US bot more in fact so either you get it cheaper or it's something else.
