    Default Everyone hates me!

Is there a force diplomacy mod for this?

Because the way the AI refuses every alliance or ceasefire and just goes total war against you is frustrating, I ended up throwing a glass at my girlfriend for saying something to me, out of sheer frustration because next to venice, genoa, france denmark and egypt, now suddenly Poland decided to attack me as the HRE

6.2 is just insane and frustrating not 1 turn is without battle, and the tedious battles take up too much time

you know how often i had to say: leave me alone to my gf, just to get some city managing done in between all the tedious battles

So I ask again, is there a force diplomacy mod? Or what do I have to alter to make the AI less agressive.

Because with a girlfriend and a 5 month old daughter I don't have the time nor patience to go all leet hardcore gaming with high difficulty, i just want to build up cities, and fight battles every few turns to escape reality and feel like I'm in control of something, games are suposed to be leisure not hard work and frustration

There is no force diplomacy mod so you can only lower the difficulty and try some other faction, i suggest England kill of the Scots early and you can stay in England and focus on building.

    Anyone can mod it

    1. Go to your Stainless_Steel_6/Data/scripts/show_me folder (if show_me folder does not exist - create it! )
    2. Place attached Force_diplomacy.txt file in show_me folder. Or create there Force_diplomacy.txt containing following lines:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    script

    console_command force_diplomacy accept

    select_ui_element advisor_dismiss_button
    simulate_mouse_click lclick_down
    simulate_mouse_click lclick_up

    end_script

    3. Find in Data folder export_descr_advice.txt, open it with notepad or any other text editor.
    4. Find (Ctrl+F) in export_descr_advice.txt line saying AdviceThread Help_UI_Panel_Diplomacy_Advice_Thread
    5. Change following this line section as this (add red-coloured line)
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    AdviceThread Help_UI_Panel_Diplomacy_Advice_Thread
    GameArea Campaign

    Item Help_UI_Panel_Diplomacy_Advice_Text_01
    Uninhibitable
    Verbosity 0
    Priority 5
    Threshold 1
    MaxRepeats 0
    RepeatInterval 1
    Attitude Normal
    Presentation Default
    Title Help_UI_Panel_Diplomacy_Advice_Text_01_Title
    Script scripts/show_me/Force_Diplomacy.txt
    Text Help_UI_Panel_Diplomacy_Advice_Text_01_Text1

    6. Save file.
    7. Start game, on the map reset advisor through options, approach anyone with your diplomat, make proposition, and before clicking "Make offer" button click on question mark in upper-right corner of diplomacy screen. Then click on "Show me" button beneath advisor portrait. And only then click "Make offer".

    8. Conquer all map through force_diplomacy cheat without war or just force dumb and stubborn AI to accept your fair offer
    It works

Hmmmm.... Sounds like you have the campaign level jacked thru the roof . Why not lower it a bit and leave battles jacked if you want to still be pressed? I play on M/M and I still get all I can handle and it's still fun. Remember if you play HRE you always going to attract the envy of...."succafants"....

Firstly, seek help dude. Throwing a glass at the missus is probably not the best solution. May I suggest Anger Management classes

I've found in this mod (I play SS 6.2 RC/RR VH/VH) that the AI is not going to accept a 'lets be allies for nothing in return' offer. 9 times out of 10 they will only accept an alliance for a LOT of cash or if you offer up a settlement in the bargain (sometimes they wont even flinch at that - if thats the case, accept it, they don't wanna be your friend) or both. My strategy these days tends to lie around finding a province that a potentional ally may be after and then go take it for myself - even if it means marching through their own lands. Once I have done that I then offer it to them in exchange for an alliance and generally I always manage to seal the deal. Its a little loss of manpower for big gain in knowing that your border on one side is going to be safe for a little while. Hopefully you can also manage a Military Access deal as well so then your returning army does not have to dodge everything to get back safe without causing a diplomatic meltdown.

Edit: Cuo offered some great suggestions also.

hate to suggest this in the SS thread, but Deus Lo Vult focuses less on a "total war" and more along the lines of civ style, city building.

That might be more preferable to you

Then lower the difficulty, there is no other option if you don't result to cheating.

I don't get it, why everyone thinks that it is impossible to sustain alliances in 6.2 on vh.

There are two important things: First is reputation, second is florins.

Always try to gain good reputation by releasing prisioners, not sacking settlement, etc. With a good reputation it's much more easy to make alliances. Now you need some florins to keep good relations with your neighbours. Pay them some tributes and from time to time some single payments.

I always play on vh and I fight two factions at maximum at the same time.

By the way: Always have some garrison at your border settlements, so your neighbors won't come into seduction to attack you.

    Kill your girlfriend.

    It's the only solution.

Play with the Savage AI - http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=228672

1 thing is that with 6.2 you can actually auto battles, since the outcome of autoreslove has been significantly boosted towards the player. Hell, i even find myself getting better results sometimes with auto then when playing the battle alone!
2 thing is that HRE is just hard to play.

It can't just be me... but... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.
And on topic: Alliances are more situational in 6.2, you'll only get them if you're really nice. (Once at war.)
But you can spam alliances quite easily early game.
