...said the last remaining orc.
Today I have experienced very unique battle. First time playing as evil - Mordor - I besieged Western Osgiliath. Garrisson script refilled the garrisson to full stack and another Gondorian full stack led by Steward Denethor himself attacked me. I had the army led by Witch-king along with 7 other Nazguls (last being in Mirkwood), 7 orc bands and 2 raiders. From Eastern Osgiliath two undermanned units came as reinforcements. Enemy had 5679 men out of which most were infantry. Some additional archers and some cavalry and two bodyguards (Denethor and Halthor).
When they crossed the bridge and started pawning my orcs I was worried as it didn't go well. I almost thought I will lose, which is very rare sensation for me :-) So I sent in the Nazguls to turn the tide. They did eventually and my men broke the single wave of 5000 men. But then the cavalry and bodyguards came in to break my exhausted and largely dead orcs. Again it didn't look very good, but in the end both Denethor and Halthor were slained and remaining Gondorians started to retreat.
So far not anything THAT interesting, but then I realized out of my 2500 orcs only ONE survived. Yes, all units fought to the last man and last orc of the last unit was the only survivor.

But the most funniest moment was when I clicked on that last guy in the battle and he said: "Order completed!" while my order all along was don't let any Gondorian past this bridge alive! :-) Good to know orcs are so obedient units!
