    Default Independent Umbar faction

    Hey

    With the VoA-faction mod nearing release, I was thinking that somthing similar could be done to Umbar.
    Not a huge faction mod like DAC, but more like this wonderful little stand-alone faction mod.

    As many like to use RR+RC, they just can't use faction mods along with it - but it would be great if some small factions mods could

    Just a thought. Would be great if it was done sometime in the future though.

    Thanks that you know that this mod is going to be released soon.

    The forgotten realms mod and the voa mod are very close to each other and we will make sure they will be playable with each other. With these factions, I think there are enough factions to be in tatw, without changing the game style much. Umbar wouldn't work, because it is not connected to enemy ground and it makes the change of war between the evil factions only bigger. So I don't think that is good idea for a single faction mod. Maybe dol guldur would be more suitable for a new evil faction.

    There is something like a faction file in which you can say whether it prefers naval invasions or not, enable it, they will invade over sea more than over land.

    yes, but that really doesn't fit the normal tatw. Divide and conquer does that, but dac also changes the total atmosphere of the game. The point with voa and frome is that it remains the same game for the people who play it. If you understand what I say

    Not really...

    But imo it would make Umbar an unpredictable faction that could strike anywhere. Isn't this good?

    And btw, this is only for one faction. And you can't tell me that VoA or FROME don't change the game, adding factions always changes the game.
