Do AI units use DLC in campaign

Hello,

A simple quick question I can’t find the answer to.

Dose the AI use/build/recruit any of the DLC units in campaign mode. I have 2 of the DLC packs but have never seen the AI build the units.

Hi there.
Sometimes they do yes. I have, as Prussia, been up against french Swiss Guards, and as Maratha I once had to fight GB's Horse Guards. There are many instances where the AI uses them, but those where some I could remember.

Yes. I have seen every land unit in all the DLCs I purchased show up with the exception of the naval units. I have not seen the HMS Victory show up though I can only imagine it was probably quickly destroyed.

I've seen AI build the HMS victory in a campaign. In my current Swedish campaign, I was just checking out the AI stacks just to see their force make-up and came across the Victory with a British fleet in the Bay of Biscay. So the CAI does build DLC naval units as well.

As the UP I declared war on my staunch British allies for the express purpose of relieving them of their Victory's. Bagged several of them before I lost interest in the campaign.
But I would certainly recommend anyone with naval ambition to give tech to the Brits so they can build the Victory quickly.

Yeah have noticed the Martha seem to love the gurkahs! also noticed them using some of the new elite units of the east, which suck as I can't seem to get some of them with my ottomans!
