    Default Weird map errors

I just nabbed this mod the other day and have played it a little. The shear number of things that look different(though on closer inspection really aren't) kinda threw me off a little but I finally managed to get my hooks in. So I've started a campaign as Makedonia and it's going pretty well, first turn I had made my kings firstborn Heir and he killed King Pyrrhus' first born and heir. Since then I've moved south and have taken Athens, and am now moving on Sparta. The whole thing looks really great, the mod is full of Eyecandy.

But one thing that gets me is all the invisible land bridges, I understand they've good for the AI but they are a bit annoying though not really an issue.

Then there is the visible land bridges between Athens and Corinth, you can cross it with armies! But you can cross it with a fleet!? Armies can cross an invisible land bridge just north of it though, but this seems to make it so you can't end your movement close to the other side for some reason.

So basically I'm wondering if it was supposed to be that way and why?

    Darkness beyond twilight
    Crimson beyond blood that flows
Buried in the stream of time is where your power grows
I pledge myself to conquer all the foes who stand
before the mighty gift bestowed in my unworthy hand
Let the fools who stand before me be destroyed
by the power you and I possess

Have a look at the buildings in Korinth, its the isthmus of Corinth. Basically ships were dragged across the narrow causeway.

To be exact this ancient paved "railway" was called Diolkos. Read the building description in EB or have a look on it at wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diolkos.
Have read about this the first time, when I discovered it in EB, pretty impressive.

Btw. the Isthmus of Corinth is not a visible landbrigde implented to help the AI. It is a real existing land bridge. The Peloponnesus was no island.

Ah yes, I forgot about that.

That doesn't explain why the visible land bridge counts as sea for armies though. :/

Also, something else I noticed, the southern tip of the region control by Sparta has 3 different region borders, inculding one owned by Egypt. Why is that?

A famous region in antiquity for hiring various mercs, only accesible by sea. Forget the name. The reason for the different borders is for as large a merc pool as possible.

Maybe it has something to do with coding. Because the land there has to count as sea (to allow the ships passing it).

Hmm, maybe. I wonder if there is a way to fix that without breaking it.
