I have several Admirals and Generals that are the heart of my empire. But they are 60-70 and going to die soon. Is there something that can stop them from aging, I don't want them to die.

I don't think there is. You could try the trick of reloading to the previous saved game each time the general/admiral dies but I don't know if this works in Empire. I would just let them die off. The number of stars only really matters when you auto-resolve a battle so if you plan on playing most of you big battles it shouldn't be a problem.
Aww, Horatio Nelson is like 70 and he is the best admiral in the game.
thanks
Also when you are recruiting Generals and Admirals is there an infinite amount of them or is finite. Like does the game keep coming up with a different name each time.
You could try cutting back their meat consumption and have them eat more fruits and vegetables.Sorry...couldn't resist. If I knew a way I'd help you out but I really don't.

There is no glory in liberty, only hard work to uphold it.
Hi there.
Having a General or an Admiral around makes a huge difference. Especially if they have morale boosting traits. They are best recruited from units with high experience or from, when generals, the Top Army Barracks, or, when admirals, with an Admirals Flagship comming along. And there are nothing you can do to keep them alive, since death of age is natural. But you can live on after that, just remember what I wrote above when you recruit a replacement. And they are recruited with random names yes, but sometimes you can be lucky; I had Wolfe once.
