Can I view my texture without putting it into the game?

I have been making textures lately and it seems hard work to put it into the game to see how it turns out. Is there any way I can view it without having to put it into the game and start a battle?

You could view it in a program such as 3ds max

I think you can use for fast view your textures "milkshape". You can download the free 30 days version. I think after this 30 days, you can't save the model anymore, but you want only see textures, so this should be not a problem.

Go to -> Materials -> click Figure -> click the zone left of none and search your texture. Ready.

To refresh, if you made changes go to "I think" Face -> Refresh textures.
