Alliances with Independent Cities

When playing the Romans and you invade Messane a war with Carthage is triggered.
Same goes with Byzantion, attack it and the Koinon Hellenon declares war on you.

Have only discovered these two until now. So I´m interestied if there are any other provinces with similar Alliances/Influence zones?

If you attack Sinope, it wil cause KH to start being at war with you, also i think if you attack Thermon with the greeks there are consequences

From looking at the script:

If either the SPQR or Carthage attack Messana war is declared.
If any faction attacks Chersonesos, Pantikapaion, Thermon or Trapezous the KH will declare war on them.
If Pontos attacks Sinope the KH will also attack.
If anyone attacks Nikaia or Byzantion Pontos will declare war.
If Carthage attack Kyrene or Ammonion the Ptolemaioi will delcare war.
If the Ptolemaioi attack Kyrene the Seleukids will declare war.
If anyone attacks Kallatis the Getai will declare war.
If anyone attacks Numantia the Lusotana will declare war

and btw. am I right with the assumption, that all these provinces allied with the Koinon Hellenon turn into KH provinces when they rebell? Cause in one of my campaigns the starting provinces were lost and the KH existed only in Chersonesos and Pantikapaion (having transformed to the Bosporan Kingdom).

Yeah I think so, there is a whole load of provinces that will revolt to the KH the few others I can think of are Massalia, Emporion, Halikarnassos, Pergamon and Olbia (i think). This is only true at the start of the game, if a faction conquers a city and upgrades the governor building it will now revolt to them.
