Settings!

how do you force the settings to be saved? everytime the game closes, all my settings get resetted. thanks!

How are you closing the game? If you're closing the game via windows task manager, then it will not save the settings.

Try setting your settings, press the little check button or whatever to accept the changes then quit the game by the tab on the menu. If it exits out like so, then it should save your settings.

ahahaha...i just realize i havent actually exited the game, completely forgot about the CTDs...

If your unit size and grass distance keep bouncing back despite changing them it is because they are in the cfg file.

unit size default at huge
grass distance at 9000
