    Default Question about the Templars

    I have no problem with them not starting with it, but why do the Knight's Templars not start with Acre? Historical acurracy? Balance (I have a hard time beleiving that one)? Afriad that the Egyptions will steam roll them?

    Also on a slightly related note, I did some reading up on the Teutonic Order, and it turns out that at one point they were based at Arce. Cool, huh?

    Great. Try to fix a spelling error and it double posts.

    Surely the equation goes like this

    Gameplay > realisticness

    Also, templars get mighty powerful in the late game, especially when surrounding nations don't get as powerful

    The campaign starts before the crusades, you know. So the Templars should not control Acre, nor were the Teutons contoling the port there. So, it's realisticness.

    The Enemy of Human Souls
    Sat grieving at the cost of coals;
    For Hell had been annexed of late,
    And was a sovereign Southern State.
