Pictures you would like to see in messages when you play

The idea is to see different pictures in message ingame. I know there is software you could use to convert a photo to a paint or a design...

Great ideas! - if you can start a new thread for these that would be great, so they don't get lost. Keep posting the pictures.

Thats a great idea - And i think the program is Make3D.

Post here your pictures team dev could use in the game if they are interest.

Pictures from the SPQR mod for RTW (Lt1951) its screen ingame, i dont know what are theses files. If you know how find them, i can send them to you because the SPQR mod is install on my computer.

The above ones are the normal vanilla pictures and is used in RS 2.

All these are found by culture in

/data/UI/roman/eventpics
/data/UI/barbarian/eventpics
/data/UI/greek/eventpics
/data/UI/eastern/eventpics

etc.

Also remember that they will need to be at the same width and hight as the vanilla ones.

ok. If you can turn these photos into drawings, I'm interested. I have found nothing for the murders or alliances... What do you think of the idea to customize more images in the mod ?

I think this is a good idea if it is possible to implement.Expecially it will be awesome,if you can put it good pictures of the barbarian,eastern and greek civilisations.

There are very good artists who make beautiful paintings on empires. There are also talented artists that make great pictures, as we saw in Empire Total War and Medieval Total War for CA. I think we need find them and their work. Or find games on the ancient Egyptian or Greek empires / barbarian / eastern civilizations... I will see tomorrow or after tomorrow what i can find. For games, maybe i need install them to keep pictures... But for the software to convert real photo to a drawing, i dont know how do...

Great stuff. Before you do too much work on this I'd suggest that we need to see if someone is willing to work on these. I know I can't take these on.

You can use a picture Re-Sizer online quite easily, but to convert images to drawings ? Dont have a clue, it looks like that make3d wasnt the right program, But i think youd probably have to draw them yourself or find some already drawn, Though cant you use any images ? No matter drawn or real ?

I think real pictures are better than drawn ones.

I made an attempt to resize a picture to the normal size and then use the border in the normal pictures.
Here's the result:

You shouldn't stretch the picture. It's better to cut the lower parts of the picture.
