CTD after 1st turn of any faction

so i installed the game perfect everything was great, started playing with riekland or the emperors faction, so around turn maybe 5/6 or so, can't remember, the orks attack my southern town, in an event right, so i end my turn, the orks attack and instead of fighting it, i decide to save and go to bed for the night, well so i try and load the next day and wont load!?!? i found the patch that helps load games http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=321733
downloaded it and tryed it, but wouldnt work so i was bumbed out and decided to try and start a new game, but now it always crashes after first turn for every faction. im stumped. should i just reinstall everything? or maybe theres just a file or two missing?

It would help people here if you would post your log for the battle. It can be found in your Medieval II folder as the folder named 'logs'. You need to attach it to a .rar file on here before you boot up the game, or go into the game where it crashes again.

It's most likely you made a mistake on the installation. So, you may want to try reinstalling the game.
