CTD's with latest patch?

Hi everyone. Today steam started to update my empire and after that i couldnt launch my mods anny longer. Does annyone know why this happens? i mean what kind of incompatible issues does the new patch have?

Im currently using reskins, add units-mods(some units are only recruitable i certain regions wotch might be a problem), animation-mods and the Jedimod.

your will need to redownload a update from your mods ! check your mod forums... probably allready working on new mod for latest patch

A DM hotfix has been released that fixed the CTD problem for me except for the Espana_dm mod. There is also a TAR hotfix that is supposed to help but I don't use TAR and it made no difference for me with the Espana_dm mod.

@Geronemo2006- Yes I've tried that TAR-fix aswell but with no sucess. I'm only using the light edition of Jedimod, witch i think dosen't anny reskin or such.

roebra@- So you mean that modders has to make their mods compatible like they have don with previous patches?

Currently not pleased by these silent updates for DLCs I don't even want that breaks all my mods. This is one of the main reasons I hate using Steam... If I buy the DLC, I can understand; but forcing it down my throat whether I can use it or not because of MP compatibility is getting a bit ridiculous. Add that I can't deny it's installations is an insult atop the injury/inconvenience caused.

This kind of BS only hastens the inevitable uninstall of this game.

Did you buy the new DLC ? if you didnt,just take your patch4 pack out of your data and all will be as it was!(save it somewhere safe!)
If you have bought the DLC ,check your used-Mods forums for updates with Fixes plse

I tried that and all was not well (the crashing continued). The DM hotfix has stopped the CTDs except for Espana_dm. Isabelxxx and (HG)Super say they think they know what the problem is though and will sort it out.

playing TAR GC,i did NOT buy DLC and just took patch4 out and my current GC is still running fine,save games and all!

Its not a patch its just the new dlc units.

The extra units you are able to purchase through steam and download for Empires such as the Elite units of the East this time

Thanks everyonne for your replies but i have found the cause, looks like i had a obsolete mod in my data folder
