    Default Early Augustan Reforms

Somehow I've attained the Augustan Reforms at 142 B.C., less than 20 years after reaching the Marian Reforms. According to the FAQ, they shouldn't come until at least 125BC. While I have a character who has all the required traits, I'm not even sure if I have 45 type 2 settlements! Anybody see this before?

    -At least year 125BC
    -Hold 90 settlements
-Have at least 45 type2 settlements
    -Fight 400 battles
    -Have a general that is:
    Sharp/Charismatic/Vigorous
    At least Skilled Bureaucrat
    At least Arrogans
    At least Expert Recruiter
    Can't be Selfless
(If these conditions are met, the general will receive a trait telling he wants to seize power. Make him the Faction Heir and as soon as he becomes the leader the reforms will happen.)

did he actually trigger the reforms? I recall having family members acquire the augustan trait well before the date of the reforms, but it wont actually be triggered until you fulfill all the requirements including the minumun year.

KINGS AND PAWNS, EMPERORS AND FOOLS...

I made him Faction Heir shortly after receiving the "high ambitions" message, moved him to Rome, and then the Faction Leader died shortly after that. I was expecting to have to wait until 125, and getting ready to count my type 2's, when all of a sudden the reformer message came. I guess I could have waited to start building my new MIC's, but those new units are too tasty to resist!

I've groomed characters to get the high ambitions trait (with varying success). From what I’ve seen you definitely need the criteria you've listed from the FAQ to get HA, but once the guy becomes Augustus I don’t think the year matters. I’ve had the reforms occur for me in the 140s and again in the 130s, the new MICs become available to build immediately.

This happened to me also in the same exact year; 142 BC. I don't believe I even knew I had a character that met all the requisites (my faction leader now, for sure, doesn't meet them) and I've fought 391 battles not 400. Though it was a complete shock to me when the advisor popped up and told me the Reforms had happened, I wasn't complaining I got to use some Archer Auxiliaries 17 years ahead of time! Maybe it's that magical year....

    Yeah convenient bugs!

Edit: Btw I doubled checked and my previous faction leader died in 146 BC not 142 and the new "Augustus" has only the Expert Recruiter trait of the requisites. Weird
