I believe this is in the wrong board. Maybe the Arts would be a better place.

Jeanne d'Arc is also not so bad, at least the fighting scenes are great.

    Kingdom of Heaven, most definitely...

There are also some very good miniseries on the late period (mostly BBC based).

I litterally watched Kingdom of Heaven last night. It's good to get an insight into how it was back in those days.

Kingdom of Heaven was one film I didn't like, it was rather boring and the acting was awful apart from the leper there, whatever his name is.....there isn't enough (good) films of this time period IMO. Braveheart was pretty good but very "Hollywood". King Arthur was slightly wierd. I would encourage somebody to do something special ŕ la gladiator.

The maker of Gladiator is now filming Robin Hood with the same lead actor from Gladiator. Its gonna be badass .

    Edward Norton

Nobody mentioned Robin Hood: Men In Tights.

They went around looking for fights.

You guys have to watch Warlords: 3 Kingdoms,Redcliff 1,2,and Battle of Wits. I am horrible at names when it comes to foreign movies and there is a few other Epic Chinese medieval films out there I watched ,but forgot the title. Those movies are the closest thing to a Total War game battle wise in my opinion, albeit setting is in the East.Shogun anyone? Epic battles with thousands of troops. The acting and directing are also top notch. The only crappy thing is that you have to watch subtitles since they are foreign, but they were done pretty well. Check your foreign section at Blockbuster,Hollywood,or if you are a little unscrupulous, online(free).

I like this movie, but there should be more fighting and actions scenes. I like beginning where they are in forest.
