Ships don't get experience?

Hi,
When my naval battle outcome screen comes up it doesnt list the number of enemy sailors killed...so if they sink a ship it counts as 1 killed enemy and if a ship successfully beats 2 enemy ships killing most of their men and making them both surrender, but without sinking either it counts it as no kills?

Seem to remember this was a bug that was fixed before(?), but i got a new computer and it hasnt changed..any ideas please?

mr mm - if i remember correctly after one of the updates when i played a naval battle (outside the campaign mode) it counted the actual kills of men for experience rather than counting them as ships...subsequently disappeared.?

Thats correct its how many men you kill not the amount of ships you sink.
