Elite Units of the East not working?

I have just bought the Elite Units of the East DLC, and for some reason, they aren't in the game.
It shows the DLC in my Steam games list, so I know I have it.
However, when I try to do play a custom battle, they are not there, none of them.
I got Elite Units of the West at the same time, and that is working perfectly, so why isn't the new DLC working?

Steam did download the update for Elite Units of the East, so there is no reason for them not to be there.

lol, now CA DLCs need heavy patching as well inserting units - how hard can it be to insert them into the most moddable game since the bronze age

I just played a custom battle and all units where there, sadly the names and descriptions where missing.

My first impressions are good, they all look wonderfull. A shame they all receive the generic captains and musicians though and no captains and musicians that wear the same uniform, like is often seen in other DLC packages.

But yes the units look great, I am very happy about it. I just want the names and descriptions to show, this makes it a bit difficult to tell if its light infantry, line infantry, riflemen, dragoons, etc.

A shame that none of the units can fire while mounted, and those Ottoman berbers (dont know the name since I cant see it) have very short range, only 35. But those blunderbusses are quite lethal at close range as far as I saw. They mowed down half of a new Marathan Elite cavalry unit with one volley.

i've got no problems with the unit DLC, they are all there with correct names and everything!

Dude. I downloaded for 2 days plus. Still at 0%.
Although yesterday night i saw 99% i got so happy, clicked on the steam menu and BOOM! \

Steam is Not Responding. Close The Programe? Wait For It To Respond? or Shout MTFkERR!!!

I had the same problem so I go rid of my mods and they're there now

I have Darthmod Ultimate Commander installed and I have tried disableing the Pack files to no avail. Should I remove it completely?

I barely use mods, just a portraits mod and Ornamentum, furthermore just reskins and a personal unit mod I made with the DB editor to bolster some neglected faction rosters with existing units from the game.

Uninstalling Darthmod worked. I did notice a post with a fix for EUotE, so I will try reinstalling Darthmod with that fix later.

I had DarthMod Empire Lite 5,2 & various reskin mods(Ornamentum,romulus,etc) & BSM_Light_1_8/Battlefield_Soundmod.
I didn't test which was causing the problem(sorry)I just chucked the lot & restarted Empire and the units appeared in custom.

can anyone help me get the descriptions and names to appear? I believe I heard about this problem with previous DLC but never experienced it myself.

I tried removing Ornamentum but it didnt work so I put that back.

What could be causing this problem?

The DLC Elite units of the East has bugs:

1) Bosnian Panduks change colour when you zoom out/in. LOD's are messed up
2) Cairo Janissares have no eyes (only black holes and look creepy)
