Can't find ANY info on what Stainless Steel is and what it changes.

What is this "Stainless Steel" mod and what does it do exactly? Is there a change list of what it changes? I searched all over and found nothing (I hate adding a mod to a game unless I know EXACTLY what it changes). Why is it so difficult to find info on exactly what this mod does? I figured this would be the best place to ask these questions, as I can see no readme or info text.

To back up NJ's link to SS6.1, here's the link to SS6.2 which it the current version of the mod. We also have a sub-mod forum which contains 100+ sob-mods for Stainless Steel.

Thanks, but I already checked that and from what I can tell, it only tells me what SS 6.1 changes. I want to know about the entire mod, like from the get go. Also, what is this "snowball" effect I read about?

Thanks for the help. I'm surprised they never bothered to include a readme.txt file listing the changes, makes it difficult to know exactly what was changed. Still, I think I'll give the mod a go anyway and see what it does.

Here's a couple of key questions I have;

Does it fix the AI problem of when in battles they often refuse to shoot their cannons/arrows, or listen to your commands (especially during siege mode)?

Does it reduce the AI army spams where they send endless waves randomly throughout your territory?

Oh! And the most CRITICAL (for me anyway) question of all; does this work with all the official expansions for MTW2? I ask this because I got the gold version of the game and if I'm going to change the game, I'll need the changes for the addons as well, otherwise it might get too confusing for me to re-adjust to the changes when I go back and forth.

Sorry to jump on the bandwagon here but is there a list of faction specific events, like I know Henry Tudor pops up around 1470 or so and you can recruit him into your family but I don't know many others.
Like for example is there an event to turn the Seljuk Sultanate into the Ottoman Empire?

i beleiving what he was asking is if stainless steel will add factions, new units etc... to the new campaigns, i.e., americas, teutonic order, crusades, baron wars. and the answer is no, it only affects the grand campaign. but it looks like things may have been figured out already...
